A Justice of the Peace Courtroom in Zuba on the outskirts of Abuja yesterday July 31,

dismissed the case of assault towards Senator Elisha Abbo.

Abbo, the lawmaker representing Adamawa-North, was seen assaulting a

girl named Osimibibra Warmate in a viral video.

Afterwards, the Nigeria Police Power instituted a case of assault towards him.

The assault brought about outrage after the video went viral and the lawmaker apologized to

his sufferer in a televised press convention.

A Justice of the Peace Courtroom has now dismissed the swimsuit for lack of diligent prosecution by the police.

The Justice of the Peace, Abdullahi Ilelah, who upheld a no-case submission filed by

Senator Abbo, stated the police didn’t show past an affordable doubt that the

lawmaker certainly assaulted Osimibibra Warmate on Could 11, 2019.
