Police on Tuesday admitted that they owed a future instructor who was detained and tortured for 22 days in 2017, Ms. Nzube Obiechina, and her husband, Ogechukwu, for an N2 million trial debt.

An lawyer from the Inspector Common of the Police Intelligence Response Workforce (IRT), Mr. Nosa Uhumwamgho, advised the Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Refund for Victims of SARS Victims and different issues that Ms. Obiechina is the youngest suspect sister kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike (often known as Evans).

The Obiechinas are searching for the execution of the N2 million compensation granted to the police by the Supreme Federal Courtroom in Lagos, after their ordeal.

The panel was suspended till yesterday for the police to look to answer complaints.
