FG declares Christmas holidays on Friday, Monday, January 1

The Federal Authorities declared Friday, December 25, Monday, December 28, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021, holidays to mark the celebrations of Christmas, Boxing Day and New Yr, respectively.

Inside Minister Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola introduced this on behalf of the Federal Authorities in a press release by the ministry’s Everlasting Secretary, Dr Shuaib Belgore, on Wednesday.

It was entitled, ‘FG declares December 25, 28, 2020; January 1, 2021 holidays. ‘

The minister congratulated Christians and all Nigerians, each at residence and overseas, on this yr’s Christmas and New Yr celebrations.

Aregbesola urged Christians to undertake Christ’s creed in religion, hope and love.

“We should emulate the lifetime of humility, service, compassion, endurance, peace and righteousness that the delivery and ministry of Jesus Christ meant; that can be one of the simplest ways to get to know Christ and rejoice his delivery, ”he mentioned.

Aregbesola suggested Nigerians and Christians, particularly, to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols and pointers, as stipulated by the related authorities, throughout and after the yuletide, particularly with the second wave of the illness outbreak.
