FG gives rural women of Ogun N20,000 each


The Federal Authorities on Saturday skilled 3,500 rural and weak ladies within the state of Ogun with a grant of N20,000 every.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Catastrophe Administration and Social Improvement, Sadiya Farouq, introduced the sum of N7m to the beneficiaries originally of the Rural Lady Mission in Abeokuta.

Farouq defined that girls have been rigorously chosen in numerous rural areas within the state.

Farouq, who was represented by the ministry’s everlasting secretary, Bashir Alkali, mentioned the initiative is a part of the Nationwide Social Funding Program’s applications as a technique to cut back poverty and develop social inclusion.

In her feedback, the Vice Governor, Ms. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, praised the Federal Authorities for its efforts to carry many weak residents out of poverty.
