Kano govt.  closes 10 boarding schools

The Kano State Authorities has ordered the closure of ten boarding colleges within the state as a result of frequent kidnapping of school-aged youngsters within the northern a part of the nation.

The order to shut boarding colleges within the state comes after the kidnapping of greater than 300 inmates by bandits within the state of Zamfara.

State Commissioner for Training, Muhammad Sunusi Kiru, publicized this in a brief audio message he despatched to DAILY POST.

The schooling commissioner mentioned the closure was crucial as a result of growing variety of kidnappings of kids in colleges in neighboring states.

The closed colleges are positioned in Ajingi, Sumaila, Jogana, Kafinmaiyaki, Gaya, amongst others.
