Lagos closes third continental bridge on Friday

The Lagos State Authorities will shut the Third Continental Bridge from midnight on Friday, February 26, till midnight on Saturday.

Transport Commissioner Frederic Oladeinde introduced this in a press release yesterday.

He mentioned the whole closure of the bridge is to permit contractors to maneuver the tools used throughout repairs to the bridge and to permit roads to Oworonshoki and Adeniji to be absolutely open to visitors.

Dr. Oladeinde suggested drivers approaching the Ogudu, Alapere and Gbagada bridge to make use of the Ikorodu, Jibowu and Yaba street as different routes, whereas the visitors from Lagos Island, Iddo, Oyingbo, Adekunle and Yaba in the direction of Iyana Oworonshoki you must use Through Herbert Macaulay, Jibowu and Ikorodu Street instead route.
